Cosmetic Dentistry is the part of dentistry that deals with the appearance (aesthetics) of the teeth. A harmonious, aesthetic smile is created in the interaction between red and white aesthetics (i.e. between the tooth and gum). Thanks to years of experience and regular training we are able to offer treatments in this area at the highest level for all ages.

Teeth whitening, also called bleaching, is now a proven way to lighten dark or discoloured teeth. In the first step of the treatment, however, the exact cause of the discoloration has to be determined, since not all tooth stains can be successfully lightened.
In principle, endodontically treated (i.e. nerve-dead) teeth as well as “living” teeth can be lightened without long-term damage and without loss of substance. This treatment method is best suited for teeth that do not have large fillings and have a good position and shape.
The result is compelling and usually lasts up to three years. Subsequently, the bleaching process may be repeated as needed.
Invisalign® – Invisible Braces
Invisible teeth straightening is the way to a perfect smile.
At the thought of a dental correction you have perhaps been put off by a time-consuming, cumbersome treatment with traditional metal braces. Invisalign ® is the contemporary treatment of a malocclusion – almost invisible, computer-calculated, comfortable, removable and proven a million times.
We already work with this method since 2002 and have the experience and expertise for extensive corrections.

Beautiful teeth do not always entail dental crowns! Veneers are porcelain shells, which – similar to false fingernails – are permanently glued to the teeth. With veneers, crooked or unsightly teeth, such as discoloured front teeth or teeth with large frontal fillings, can be corrected. Malpositions can also be solved by this method. The result is aesthetically perfect.
With the help of modern techniques, the possible end result can be precisely discussed already in the planning phase. In this way, unpleasant surprises can be excluded.
Since veneers can be constructed very thin, the teeth must be ground only minimally on their front side, therefore, the process is very gentle on the teeth. Veneers have a life span of approximately 20 years.
The aesthetically most perfect solution are ceramic inlays. Through a matching manufacture based on an impression from the ground tooth, the bite, shape, contour and colour can be adjusted perfectly. Therefore, the supplied tooth looks absolutely natural.
Through a special bonding technology, the tooth regains its original strength. Ceramic inlays are the most aesthetically pleasing treatment option for the posterior teeth.
Ceramic dental crowns
Very badly damaged teeth can often not be maintained by fillings. A dental crown becomes necessary. Ceramic crowns have no unsightly “black” metal edges.
The dental technician produces the dental crowns with the highest precision using the stereo microscope. They are indistinguishable from own natural teeth in shape, colour and contour.
Computer-milled dental crowns and ceramic inlays
It is also possible to manufacture dental crowns and inlays using computer support. To this end, conventional impressions are no longer necessary. The prepared teeth are scanned using a special camera. In a complex process, the restorations are made using computer control. This saves a lot intermediate steps involving manual skills and is therefore more cost effective.
Implants are artificial tooth roots that are usually anchored in the jawbones by a minimal, low-risk surgery. On the artificial roots (made of titanium), dental crowns and bridges can be fastened securely. If you lose one or more teeth, the treatment of the gaps through an implant-supported denture is a proven, non-invasive method that offers many advantages.
For implants, we offer several treatment options. These can be found under the heading Implants.
Beautiful teeth, bright smile!
And the gums…?
That stands for health and success in life. But teeth alone do not count for an attractive effect of the smile. The lips, gums and surrounding soft tissue set the stage for the perfect staging of the teeth. Therefore, ugly and inharmonious gums structures are particularly prejudicial, even if the teeth are perfect.
In Germany, millions are spent annually on cosmetics, lipsticks and aesthetic corrections of the mouth and facial region. A comprehensive aesthetic analysis of the mouth portion taking into account the structure of the gums is seldom undertaken.
However, aesthetically perfect results can be planned and are predictable. However, this requires a detailed inventory in advance and a clearly structured planning processes by objectively verifiable criteria. In our practice, from the very beginning, two specially educated professionals working in cooperation with dental specialists are at your side to realize your wishes and ideas.
The visualization of the desired ideal state taking into account your ideas and the technical feasibility are part of the standard procedure during the planning phase. Only the person that has all the information available can make an informed decision on therapeutic approach.
